Perhaps best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series, Jessie Cave is a a very talented and unique writer/performer who is currently performing stand-up at this year’s Edinburgh Festival on the Free Fringe in the two hander AIN’T TOO PROUD TO BEG with Jenny Bede.

She recently had two sell-out runs of her 2012 Edinburgh show BOOKWORM at the Soho Theatre and had recently filmed roles in Sky’s GIVE OUT GIRLS and Channel 4′s CARDINAL BURNS Series 2. She also stars in YouTube’s remake of the classic children’s show KNIGHTMARE for their Geek Week alongside Isy Suttie. She has also appeared in BBC 3′s CARIAD SHOW and BBC 2′s GRANDMA’S HOUSE. Jessie is currently developing scripted material and is writing a pilot script with Rick Edwards for Big Talk. She also has some sketch material in the upcoming second series of PSYCHOBITCHES for Sky Arts.

Alison Spittle, meanwhile, is one of the country’s most exciting emerging comics. She was a weekly guest on Breakfast with Bernard and Keith on iRadio, a contributor to The Right Hook on Newstalk, and was a critic of the first series of Masterchef on The John Murray Show on RTE Radio 1. She was a semi-finalist for So You Think You’re Funny 2011 in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Alison has appeared on two TV shows this year, Republic of Telly and RTE’s New Comedy Awards, and recently performed her show Stoat Toast as part of 10 Days in Dublin.
